How we work

‘Time and money spent in helping people to do more for themselves is far better than mere giving.’

Henry Ford
Person Centred

All our services are centred around the person we are supporting (Effective Support Planning).

We offer support 7 days per week including evenings and weekends.

We employ a highly skilled, fully trained, versatile, motivated and proactive staff team who deliver services that consistently meet and promote individual needs, aims and aspirations.

We work in full active partnership with schools, colleges, connexions, adult education, job centre plus, transitional services and adult social care.

We are actively involved in the “My kind of Future” process (preparing and planning for periods of change and transition).

We devise, deliver and be accountable for effective Support Planning.

We explore options and seek positive outcomes that promote independence and choice.

We have strong positive relationships with families, carers and all others involved with the individuals we support.

We have developed and strive to maintain positive links within our local communities.

We work with other community groups to develop and maintain projects that benefit others.

We work in our local areas alongside local people making full use of all existing Community facilities and amenities.

We work in an outcome focused way.
