Domiciliary Services

People are at the centre of everything we do

West House provides personalised services to a range of people with a disability living in Cumbria.  The Domiciliary and Supported Living services offer a diverse range of individualised quality support services which are tailored around the specific specialist needs of the people we support.

We support people to live as tenants in their own home with their own individual support packages tailored around their emotional, social, personal and domestic needs alongside the benefits of citizenship.

Our Domiciliary service is split into eight areas; Allerdale, Copeland, Carlisle, Firth Vale, West Coast, West Fell, Workington and Whitehaven.  Each service is unique and offers specialist support within each service.

We work with a number of housing providers which include; Impact Hosing Association, Progress Care Housing Association, New Foundations Housing Association and also work with some private landlords.

West House Domiciliary Service holds an ‘Excellent’ CQC rating.

All of the people we support are given the opportunity to have their own Person Centred Plan which they are encouraged to take ownership of.   These plans are outcome focussed and ‘live’ and staff work positively with each person to help them achieve their Goals and Aspirations whilst supporting each person with an individualised Person Centred Approach.

We work jointly with community based services and other professional agencies, to ensure that all needs of the people we support are met.
