Volunteers are not paid – not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.
Becoming a volunteer is a simple easy way for people to make a real difference to someone’s life. Volunteers within West House can do many things. These are some of the things they can do
- Accompany someone on a day/night out
- Organise a fundraising event
- Act as a committee member
- Advocate or speak up for somebody
The list is endless.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer there is a simple process to go through that involves filling in an application form, coming to an interview and completing a CRB check. This process is necessary for everyone’s protection.
